Life in the Present

We've just come back from a wonderful weekend away staying with my eldest daughter in London.  I was married before Paul and had 2 beautiful girls.  My eldest is 22 years old and at University.  She has such an enthusiasm for life, she catches us up in it and we are still running with it as we come home.

You can't live your childrens lives for them, but I want to give my boys a real appetite for life; for them to see outside of our town, to explore a world that is scarey and yet exciting and to understand that living is all about attitude.  By that I mean accepting that all negatives have a positive side;  however bad something may be, if you look hard enough you can always find something good.

For me at the moment, I love seeing my boys and my girls together. Family is all important and I want to make the most of it.  Things can change in the blink of an eye as we've discovered, so I'll just enjoy the present.
