How does one lose a drill? I've never wanted to use the drill until now, in fact I wasn't actually going to use it; my daughter's boyfriend was helping me with some DIY but I've put it somewhere safe and now can't find it. I've looked in all the obvious places: the shed, the utility room, the loft, the understairs cupboard all to no avail, it's still missing!
Where DIY is concerned I struggle. I hate struggling and not knowing how to do things. I would love to join an evening class that taught DIY to blond bimbos like me. I'm sure there must be others like me who would benefit from such a class. Unfortunately I haven't heard of any such classes.
However good news! I received a cheque from British Gas today as I was in credit when I switched to EDF. With this money I may treat myself to a brand new drill and then can practise to my hearts content.
I'll just have to remember not to put it away anywhere safe otherwise this could be an expensive learning journey!
