This is where I'd like to be on a snowy January day!
Paul always wanted to travel but due to us never having much money we tended to stay in this country.
Our holidays were either in a caravan or a tent which we all loved apart from when it rained, which being England it usually did. However, often its the rain that can turn the holiday into some fun memories and gave us the stories to tell.
After walking up St Michaels Mount in Cornwall in rain and wind we had the most gorgeous cream tea with the children having hot chocolates to get warm.
Paul and our eldest surfing on Newquay beach in the rain when no-one but the lifeguards were out.
Keeping warm on Dawlish beach by joining in a tug-of-war.
Sitting outside the tent at night snuggled in duvets watching the stars.
Driven into the clubhouse because of the rain and having the most delicous curry.
Walking up Snowdon and finding mist on the top.
Being told from Pendennis Castle in Cornwall you can see France but instead hardy able to see each other due to the fog!
Good memories which I'd never trade for a holiday in the Carribean.
