Stripped Bare

God understands grief.  He doesn't give us advice, He doesn't give us sympathy, He doesn't ignore us or judge us.  He just lets us weep and holds us close.  After the weeping He dries our tears and lets us rest on Him.

I am not a theologan.  I am not good at quoting Bible verses but I know what I feel and that is my witness. God is in all things. That is the understanding of my faith.

Everything may be taken away until all that is left is my heart before God.  It beats because He gives it life.  It loves because He loved first.  Only when I am stripped bare with nothing left to give do I realise the supremecy of God and the beauty in His actions, however hard they seem to be.
